2012 Cotswold Airport Aviation Scholarship in association with fly2help
For the fifth year running Cotswold Airport in association with fly2help has held a successful scholarship for ten students aiming for a career within the aviation industry.

During an action packed fortnight over the Easter holidays, each scholar received flying tuition in a variety of aircraft, ground school, aviation industry work experience, guidance from aviation professionals, visits to major companies within the aviation industry, an overview of work within Air Traffic Control, an introduction to aircraft maintenance and completed Emergency First Aid at Work gaining their certificates.

The Aviation Scholarship, which this year received a record number of applications is paid for by Ronan Harvey the owner of Cotswold Airport.

Cotswold Airport Manager Nick Howard said… “Aviation professionals work within an extremely exciting industry, the opportunity to pass on some of that wealth of experience and introduce young people to the many options available is extremely rewarding. We are delighted that this scholarship continues to grow year, on year and look forward to welcoming applicants to the 2013 scholarship.”
Our congratulations go to Kieran Pool, who was awarded the ‘propeller’ prize for the most improved student.
